 George Carlin

"The Legendary George Carlin"

One of the most celebrated comedians of all time, Carlin is especially noted for his irreverent attitude and his observations on language, psychology, and many taboo subjects primarily focused on the short comings and flaws of modern day life. He is considered by many to be a successor to the late Lenny Bruce and in 2004 was described by Comedy Central as the second greatest stand-up comedian of all time behind Richard Pryor. Four-time Grammy award winner, he has starred in 12 HBO specials since 1977, hosted the first episode of Saturday Night Live on October 11, 1975, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1987, and in 1994 he was inducted into the Comedy Hall of Fame.
